Hello All, The information that is listed below is another volunteer opportunity that you could become involved in. The Pre-Med Club is not hosting this event, nor do we know anything more about it that what is in this email so please direct all questions and forms to Margo Dill (contact information listed below). Again this is a wonderful opportunity to become involved in and if you are interested fill out the volunteer form and return to the contact person mentioned below. The volunteer form can be found under the manage documents icon under the My Organizations link. Please proceed for more information. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR GVSU STUDENTS Please forward this information to interested members of your club or organization. GVSU has a long history (24 years) of hosting the Michigan Science Olympiad Region 12 Tournament. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 29. There are 83 middle and high schools competing in over 46 engineering, science, mathematics, and technology events. This program offers many volunteer opportunities for college students who are interested in science, engineering, mathematics, technology or teaching. Volunteer service hours for students are available through the Regional Math and Science Center. We will provide the necessary paperwork at your request. If you volunteer to work at the MSO Tournament on Saturday, March 29, you will receive your volunteer assignment in early March, following GVSU's Spring Break. Dear DSU Doers,

                        Please note the timings and date for all the meetings DSU going to have this semester. We regret that this semester we are not able to have separate general meeting. We decided to have only one great event on this semester. We will send you the details soon. Please try to participate in the event and enjoy the Dance, DJ and Dinner with DSU.

                        We are very pleased to announce Sweta Basnet as our event organizer. We are also thankful to Shirin Palekar for handling our budget aspect for the event.  For the participation and performance in the dance event please contact Sweta Basnet at sweta_720@msn.com .

Announcement

Dear DSU members,
We are please to announce our new Vice
president Mr. Jasjeet Singh. We give him a warm welcome to DSU. Mr
Vice President has set very high goals for DSU. In order to work on
this Mr. Jasjeet Singh has decided to lead biggest event of DSU for
this semester named 'Desi Night'. He has promised DSU for more fun and
masti (enjoyment and entertainment) as a part of cutural education
goal of our organization. Moreover, he has also created a new
position for Naughty stuff in our organization. He is very happy to
announce Harshitha thota as a new officer of Naughty stuff.

We expect a great participation of yours in the upcoming event Desi
night nearly on March 21st or 28th. More details will be given in the
next general meeting. The exact location and timings for this meeting
will be sent to you soon. General meeting will be at pew campus on
upcoming Friday.

We meet every Monday at kirkhof at 7:00 pm. Though it is a board
meeting, everybody is heartily invited. Please come and participate in
every meeting on Monday, give us some suggestions, and feel like
helping yourself.

Details for next board Meeting on Monday is following. As soon as we
get perment room location of monday meeting, we will inform you. The
given details is for next monday only.
