Re: DSU Meeting

FYI...

Candlelight Vigil
In late November, 2008, the world witnessed yet another senseless act of terrorism, this time in Mumbai, India. The terrorists' prime targets were citizens of India, United States, United Kingdom, and Israel. Around 180 innocent lives were lost and more than 300 people were injured in this heinous act against peaceful civilians. These coordinated terrorist attacks have been strongly condemned across the world.
As a symbol of solidarity and to pay homage to the victims of the Mumbai attacks, India Link has organized a Candlelight Vigil The vigil will be held at the downtown GVSU Campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Sunday, January 18th from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm.  This event will be held in coordination with the commemoration of the birthday of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

The address is 401 W. Fulton Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

We will assemble by the flags on GVSU's campus on Fulton Street before the railroad tracks.
Participants are requested to wear white, as a symbol of peace.
